Math Sculptor Prerequisites

Math sculptor makes use of the latest Microsoft technology. While this greatly improves what can be done in the application, many PCs do not have the necessary Microsoft upgrades. Here are the prerequisites:

Microsoft .NET2.0 (get it here);

If you have installed .NET, a useful utility can be found below.  This will check your graphics card and download the latest DirectX and Microsoft XNA

• DirectX (note: There are many versions of DirectX with the same version number.  Be sure the date is after May, 2007)

• Windows XNA

If you get an error with setup, you may need to get the latest version of windows installer.  If you get an error running the application, I've heard other XNA developers say that 90% of the time it is due to an old version of DirectX. Also note that certain older graphics cards do not support pixel shading which is required by Microsoft XNA.  Check the Feedback page for more information.
